Elitecycling has now established itself as one of the most successful cycle coaching companies in the UK. Our long established partner ship with Crystal Palace Physio Group has provided us with a venue in the sports injury centre that provides our clients the very highest standard of facilities. It is here that we carry out all physical assessments, in-door sessions, Dialed in Motion bike fitting service and all our other bio-mechanical analysis tests using Wattbike technology.
Conveniently, the Centre is perfectly situated for the country roads of Kent, which we regularly use for training and leisure rides with our clients. They can not only see the beautiful countryside but also take in some great climbs and flat twisty lanes throughout one of the most tranquil counties in Britain. Also as part of our expansion into triathlon the Centre also has a 50m pool and a 400m running track. You don't get better facilities than that.
We have also become somewhat famous in the area and soon nationwide for owning the brand Turbo Beat sponsored by S Dance Live. These sessions are run within the grounds at The Lodge on Monday and Thursday evenings between 7pm-8pm and we also offer an off peak session for clubs from 8.30pm - 9.30pm.
Our most recent project with Saxo Bank Ride Like A Pro is also based at the clinic and we provide weekly rides, seminars and also guest appearances from the riders of Tinkoff Saxo Professional Cycling Team. We provide training plans and tests for the 30 chosen industry partners to this project and we are aiming at peak fitness for 2 major events the Giro d Italia and Vuelta Espana.

I participated in triathlon for a number of years at international level, and turned professional in 1991.
I was fortunate to be coached by Col Stewart (father of Miles Stewart) who was a double triathlon World Champion. I spent time in Australia training and racing with some of the major names in triathlon, stars such as Mark Allen, Dave Scott, Mike Pigg and Greg Welch and it was during this time that I first became interested in coaching and sporting development.
I returned to the UK after finding out that triathlon was not going to be a show sport at the Barcelona Olympics and changed my emphasis to a cycling career under the watchful eye of ex-internationals and professionals such as Tim Stevens, Simon Cope and Russell Williams. I entered the sport when it still had a healthy Pro class nationally and was soon winning races.
I have had the opportunity to race in many countries over the years and have one over 100 races in many disciplines. I use this knowledge and understanding of the sport to help our athletes understand what is necessary to become successful in sport.
I have always been driven to train hard and race hard so that I had no conceivable excuse as to say I had failed through lack of trying. It is this attitude that is the driving force behind my Coaching philosophy. I work with many professional colleagues in all fields and through this can draw on the most up-to-date training methods in sports science, physiology and psychology.
I feel very fortunate to coach cyclists of all different abilities and social background who all have their very own unique targets, from winning serious races to simply improving their basic fitness levels and becoming safer on their bikes. Whatever your ability level I can provide not only the professional expertise but also the Motivation, Drive and Psychology to help you achieve your Goals.
